[Bug 1311683] [NEW] Trusty update to v3.13.11 stable release
Public bug reported:
SRU Justification
Impact:
The upstream process for stable tree updates is quite similar
in scope to the Ubuntu SRU process, e.g., each patch has to
demonstrably fix a bug, and each patch is vetted by upstream
by originating either directly from Linus' tree or in a minimally
backported form of that patch. The v3.13.11 upstream stable
patch set is now available. It should be included in the Ubuntu
kernel as well.
git://git.kernel.org/
TEST CASE: TBD
The following patches are in the v3.13.11 stable release:
user namespace: fix incorrect memory barriers
Char: ipmi_bt_sm, fix infinite loop
Revert "UBUNTU: SAUCE: x86, hyperv: bypass the timer_irq_works() check"
x86, hyperv: Bypass the timer_irq_works() check
x86: Adjust irq remapping quirk for older revisions of 5500/5520 chipsets
PCI: designware: Fix RC BAR to be single 64-bit non-prefetchable memory BAR
PCI: designware: Fix iATU programming for cfg1, io and mem viewport
ACPI / button: Add ACPI Button event via netlink routine
PCI: Enable INTx in pci_reenable_device() only when MSI/MSI-X not enabled
staging: comedi: 8255_pci: initialize MITE data window
tty: Set correct tty name in 'active' sysfs attribute
tty: Fix low_latency BUG
SCSI: sd: don't fail if the device doesn't recognize SYNCHRONIZE CACHE
pid_namespace: pidns_get() should check task_active_pid_ns() != NULL
Bluetooth: Fix removing Long Term Key
ima: restore the original behavior for sending data with ima template
backing_dev: fix hung task on sync
bdi: avoid oops on device removal
xfs: fix directory hash ordering bug
Btrfs: skip submitting barrier for missing device
Btrfs: fix deadlock with nested trans handles
ext4: fix error return from ext4_ext_handle_uninitialized_extents()
ext4: fix partial cluster handling for bigalloc file systems
ext4: fix premature freeing of partial clusters split across leaf blocks
jffs2: Fix segmentation fault found in stress test
jffs2: Fix crash due to truncation of csize
jffs2: avoid soft-lockup in jffs2_reserve_space_gc()
jffs2: remove from wait queue after schedule()
sparc32: fix build failure for arch_jump_label_transform
sparc64: don't treat 64-bit syscall return codes as 32-bit
sparc64: Make sure %pil interrupts are enabled during hypervisor yield.
wait: fix reparent_leader() vs EXIT_DEAD->EXIT_ZOMBIE race
exit: call disassociate_ctty() before exit_task_namespaces()
