Title:
  Shut Down or Log Out doesn't work using Control Panel Menu in 14.04

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  It's impossible to shutdown or log out the system using Control Panel
  menu in upper right corner in 14.04 LTS only if terminal, anytime I do
  log out or shut down it just hangs. This bug also persists on my
  friends computers.
