[Bug 1318531] [NEW] [Dell Inspiron 17R 5737] Video looks 1 byte shifted

 

Public bug reported:

The video looks like it's shifted by 1byte or so.
Red looks green, blue looks violet, green looks dark violet. (almost everything looks between green and violet as in the attached snapshot.

I've tryied to collect the bug data as Christopher M. Penalver (penalvch) suggested me by using the command:
ubuntu-bug linux

but it just ends up with a window telling me that I'm not on a mainline
kernel (as he requested me on bug #1300349) and it closes.

How should I collect the data for completing this bug?
(I've manually attached all the files suggested please let me know if something more is needed)
