[Bug 1245226] Re: HDMI: audio-video playback too fast

Peter Curtis, well, posting to this closed bug report is largely a waste
of time. If you had reviewed the documentation in
you would know that no full picture will be emerging, nor appropriate
people addressing it without you filing a report with your hardware
easily reviewable. At this point, it's not, as you haven't made a new
report as previously requested.

As well, bugzilla is legacy, and that upstream report you posted is
simply a long, mostly unhelpful mess with key details missing.

You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel
Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu.

  HDMI: audio-video playback too fast

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
After upgrading to Ubuntu 13.10, selecting HDMI as audio output device
is broken. Audio is played back at high speed. When playing back video
clips, the video frames are also too fast. Note that, when selecting
headphone as audio output device, everything works.
