[Bug 1313312] Re: ERROR @wl_cfg80211_get_station : Could not get rssi (-1) - BCM4313 - 6.20.155.1+

I am using 12.04.4 and after upgrade to lts-trusty kernel, I have the
same error

# uname -a
Linux hut 3.13.0-29-generic #53~precise1-Ubuntu SMP Wed Jun 4 22:09:45 UTC 2014 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
# lspci|grep Broadcom
03:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4312 802.11b/g LP-PHY (rev 01)

--- having the same error, flooding message
ERROR @wl_cfg80211_get_station : Could not get ...

I UPGRADE to bcmwl-kernel-souce of trusty, which i download from

http://packages.ubuntu.com/trusty/bcmwl-kernel-source

# aptitude versions bcmwl-kernel-source
Package bcmwl-kernel-source:

Title:
  ERROR @wl_cfg80211_get_station : Could not get rssi (-1) - BCM4313 -

Obviously this bug isn't fixed for 12.04 as stated in bug 923809
This bug 1158089 is about Raring.

This is true for me also (my workaround is to plug-in the network cable and download the driver again).
... driver ... it has failed to build after a new kernel release before
  http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2216779&page=2

Please fix it at least when the upgrade to trusty is scheduled for
  12.04
