[Bug 1334230] Re: [Asus X550VC] Fn+F2 wifi on/off don't work

 

Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v3.16 kernel[0].

If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following
tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'.

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag:
'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'.

If you are unable to test the mainline kernel, for example it will not boot, please add the tag: 'kernel-unable-to-test-upstream'.
Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as "Confirmed".

  [Asus X550VC] Fn+F2 wifi on/off don't work

  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Fn+F2 button doesn't work for activating/deactivating wifi.
  Led indicator works after I updated BIOS and used step 4 here http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2181558&p=12819605#post12819605.
  I can connect to wireless networks, but i want to can on/off wifi.

  I trayed Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and everything about on/off button works
  well.
