[Bug 1333913] Re: Kernel panics on br_nf_pre_routing_finish_bridge with atl1c driver

Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v3.16 kernel[0].

If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following
tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'.

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag:
'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'.

If you are unable to test the mainline kernel, for example it will not boot, please add the tag: 'kernel-unable-to-test-upstream'.
Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as "Confirmed".

Thanks in advance.

Title:
Kernel panics on br_nf_pre_routing_finish_bridge with atl1c driver

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I'm building custom router based on Ubuntu Server. With
bridging/routing enabled I've encountered kernel panic (several times
in row with neither visible reason nor specific timings) in
  br_nf_pre_routing_finish_bridge with atl1c driver loaded.

The bridge br0 consists of 1 port (eth0), which is the following
  network card:

05:00.0 Ethernet controller: Qualcomm Atheros AR8151 v2.0 Gigabit
  Ethernet (rev c0)

It is driven by atl1c module. The network behind this card is NAT'ed.

Kernel panic photo and lspci output are attached to this report. With
different network card everything works OK.
