Title:
Blank screen on resume from suspend
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Suspend worked fine on 13.10, but since upgrading to 14.04 I have issues.
I can suspend the laptop, either from the suspend button or closing the lid. When opening the lid, the screen does not seem to turn on. It does not respond to anything, and changing terminals has no effect. I have to hold the power button in for a hard reset.
At first, it sometimes worked fine on resume. It seemed that unplugging my wireless mouse before suspending and then plugging it back in once suspended helped the issue, but lately that has not been working either.
