Message #82274
[Bug 1375452] [NEW] linux 3.16.0-18.25 fails to boot on POWER8 VM with ibm-vscsi
Public bug reported:
When I try to boot 3.16.0-18.25 on a POWER8 VM, I get the following in a
hard loop on the console:
[72319.154290] sd 0:0:0:0: Can't map DMA_BIDIRECTIONAL to read/write
[72319.154413] sd 0:0:0:0: couldn't convert cmd to srp_cmd
Reproducible with subsequent reboots, it's not a one-off issue.
Rebooting into 3.16.0-17.23 works fine.
