  Penpower Crystal Touch (ELAN TouchPad) not working

Bug description:
  I'd like to use this USB touchpad for Chinese handwriting input, but it doesn't get recognised as an input device.
  It is recognised as a USB device:

  but does not appear in the list of devices from xinput.
