ahb, given the new information you provided, please ignore the request
to file this upstream. For now, let this be assigned to the cpufreqd
package for the specialist on that to review.

As well, would you be able to provide more information on your use of
cpufreqd (was it installed by default, did you configure it in any way,
etc.).
