  Whenever I try to safely remove my Hard disk in Ubuntu 11.10 Then I

  Whenever I try to safely remove my Hard disk in Ubuntu 11.10 Then I encounter a black screen.
  It tells system panic occured and then nothing is working anymore and I need to power down the machine and boot again.
