Title:
stand-by stopped to work
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
On precise stand-by of my Notebook stopped to work.
When I start the stand-by process I can see the system "shutting down"
- screen locked, boot-animation... than the harddisk shut down and
than nothing happens any more. The CPU Fan and LCD are running and
running...
Only thing I can do is to force power off.
I tryd some mainline kernels: older one (3.1.10), current one (3.2.16)
and also newest one (3.4.0rc5).
All have the same problem. I also created from the final release a
USB-key with the Ubuntu Precise live-system and did also a try there,
but without luck (same problem).
Something must have changed, then before it was possible to switch in
stand-by mode with Ubuntu 11.10.
