keryx till now cant install packages on ubuntu what it does is to
enable you to get the corresponding dependencies of .deb package u
need collect it from any windows, linux system on a portable drive and
bring back to ur system.then u have to install it manually on ur
system.benifit is you dont get troubled by apt synaptic or dpkg asking
for required files.when u make a project the status of installed
packages are copied so that you dont download what u have. u can
multiple projects for multiple systems. so in installation part no new
features.package management will be implemented in 1.0 version.wine is
in ubuntu repo.you can add any repo that supplies .deb packages
supported by apt.if they give any line starting with deb http... add
it to sources.list from keryx.u can get a lot of software from ubuntu
ppa like google chrome browser beta just take care not to add new
style ppa for karmic onwards stick with deb http style and change
version to karmic from hardy, interpid etc. winehq also provides a apt
repo.see relevant pages in wine site. google helps a lot and cheers!!
