Re: Install not maintain canonical packages.

 

If you are looking for something that is not in the ubuntu repositories, you
can simply add the line to the project's sources.list file on your flash
drive, just like you would if you were on Ubuntu and manually editing the
file. Keryx can do this if you create a project, open it on the online
machine, and go to Tools->Edit Sources and you can put in your repositories
there easily.

Third party repositories can be added like that, but several of those (as
Sreejil mentioned) are available in the regular repositories so you should
search from them first before grabbing them from a third party repository.
