Seems to work pretty well now. I'm using PCBNEW everyday now until this 
400+ footprint board is done.

In C/C++ it is pretty hard to abuse "goto", and I don't run from it like 
some folks do. There is some residual paranoia about goto's that 
carried over from BASIC, but I think we can all relax now that C/C++ is 
in play.
