Please no... one of the sacred tenants in pcb layout is that the board is ALWAYS seen from above. If you start to flip a 40cm board (been there :D) athigh magnification you lose your way pretty fast.
And I don't know how you would handle internal layer that way (flip only for the bottom half?)
High contrast mode is way more useful. A REALLY good idea would be selective drawing mode for layers (i.e. the current one solid, the other ones sketched); hope to see that in the layer visibility patch/toolbar.
