Hi Guys,

Please find attached two screenshots showing the inconsistent label
directions between normal labels and global labels, and a patch to fix
this problem.

The patch also prevents drawing a blank label when the cancel button
is pressed from the new label dialog, and the local label now
remembers the last direction used so the behaviour is the same as that
of global labels (I could really have done with this a few weeks ago
when labelling a schema)
