up or right SHIFT two finger drag moves the components up
(horizontal drag seems to be less of an influence)

This is good - up drag gives up components movement.

up or right CMD two finger drag moves the components left.
(This is still opposite to the System Preferences drag direction )
(KiCad gives: left drag is right movement)

The grid dots are not visible in either OpenGL or Cairo view of pcbnew.
Clicking on the grid dot icon does not bring them up.

Default view is fine - grid dot icon works as expected.

Cannot get the Cairo view to crash - good job! - (I think since 5578 )
