[PATCH] Allow HTML files in KiCad project manager to be opened in browser
For your consideration a patch that extends the KiCad project manager to
recognise HTML files in the project browser and open them in the default
browser when clicked on.
I use this feature quite a bit as I generate my various BOM and other
reports through python scripts and in both HTML and CSV formats.
I find the HTML versions quicker to open and browse than the CSV
equivalents (and easier on the eye) and it is also very easy to include
click-able links. For example one of my reports shows all URL references
to supplier website links that I then can easily click on to get to the
supplier website for that part.
For the HTML icon I used an existing lightbulb icon as I have not been
able to find an otherwise suitable HTML icon. I copied it into its own
html icon files, so it can be updated easily if need be.
