Oh absolutely. There's always the possibility to make a mistake - I
just want the flexibility to allow what I want. I'm always a fan of
"Any system designed to prevent idiots doing something stupid will
inevitably prevent an ingenious person doing something clever."
Conversely, a system so flexible and configurable to allow a wider
range of uses is always more open to misuse. That comes with the
territory. As KiCad is a tool primarily aimed at engineers, I think
we'd value that flexibility more than any perceived level of safety
from mistakes. If I want to shoot myself in the foot, it's still my
foot, right? ;)
