I brought the time to open Eeschema for the first time from ~ 5 seconds to 1 by changing the stroke font from a 3-dimensional vector (character x stroke x points) to 3 vectors (the top two of pointers and the bottom of wxPoints).

If you see anything fishy, it’s probably due to this….
