Ubuntu 20.04 users even with recent KiCad 6.0.4 still have access to 
ngspice-31 only, which has been the standard ngspice at that time. And 
there are bug reports which hopefully already have been solved during 
ngspice development towards ngspice-36.

Jean-Samuel, might it be possible to revamp the project 
https://launchpad.net/~js-reynaud/+archive/ubuntu/ngspice and offer 
recent ngspice (shared library for KiCad) to users of older Ubuntu 
distributions?
