Re: Library convention for symbols

 

Sorry Carl,
I didn’t mean to derail the conversation.

The items you added are fine with me.

We just need to comb the libraries to get rid of duplicate items that might confuse new users.
I was thinking about SOT23 and derivatives. we can find many in several distinct files.

I did not find the mechanical switches outlines that I had in my old library, and that was wiped out by my mistake. 
But now that we have a process, I will suggest footprints for approval, and inclusion in the master library. But that might take a while, as I have quite a few other tasks that are ahead of those.

Thanks again for your efforts that make kicad library easier to use.
