Fwd: SeaGL Partner Info

Hi all, this is coming up soon in Seattle. Who all is planning to be there?
It is on my calendar and I would like to table at this event, however, I
need people there with me; I can't staff a table by myself.

I'd like to confirm or change plans ASAP.

All the best,

Valorie

Hello SeaGL Sponsors!

We are excited to see you all in just a few short weeks, on November 8th
and 9th! We want to thank you again for your support and keep you up to
date regarding the event.

Our schedule for the conference is now live. More details can be found at
https://seagl.org/news/2024/10/16/Conference-Schedule-Released

We've set up a page for attendance information (e.g., transport, parking,
online participation, and more) at https://seagl.org/attend

A page with maps and details about the venue, accommodations, and
surrounding area can be found at https://seagl.org/maps/2024

Additionally, we've compiled some answers to commonly asked questions.

   -

What time are partners allowed in?
   -

      7:30am Friday 11/8, 8am Saturday 11/9.
      -

When is closing time for day one?
   -

6pm Friday 11/8 for attendees, 7pm for everyone else.
      -

Are there lockers to store things in over night?
   -

We have a small locked room, it will be available at 5:45pm on Friday
11/8 and must be unloaded by 8:30am Saturday 11/9.
      -

When can we begin packing up?
   -

After 4pm Saturday 11/9. Take your time as the social ends at 7pm,
but everyone needs to be out of the venue by 8pm.
      -

   Will there be WiFi?
   -

      Yes, details provided on-site.
      -

What is the standard provided equipment of the Exposition Hall?
   -

There will be a 6 ft table and 2 chairs.
      -

Shared power via an extension cord with outlets every 6 ft.
      -

Note that we do not have other equipment such as screens, furniture,
      scanners, carpet, etc. available.
      -

   Which booth will be ours?
   -

This will be arranged during check-in. The system is currently "first
      come, first serve".
      -

Will there be any space for a self-standing (pop-up) banner?
   -

There is some space between tables, which might be able to fit a
banner. Walkways must be kept clear.
      -

Is there an opt-in list of attendees and/or is it possible to scan
   people’s badges?
   -

We do not keep an attendee list nor provide badges that can be
      scanned.
      -

You may, however, have people sign-up at your booth.
      -

   Will food be served?
   -

There will be snacks available throughout the day, but no meals
      served.
      -

Food is available nearby. For example, a food court will be open
downstairs on Friday (but not Saturday), and there are plenty of
restaurants about 10 minutes away by foot.
      -

Is there an address and contact person for shipping supplies ahead of
   time?
   -

This isn't something we can offer generally; however, an organizer
may receive things on a case-by-case basis.
      -

Something doesn’t look right with our agreement. How do we request
   corrections?
   -

      Email sponsor@xxxxxxxxx
