Initially, the work is aimed at delivering better privacy (as per
https://dev.launchpad.net/LEP/BetterPrivacy). Broader permission work
will probably happen later.

Also, what's the difference between "VIEW" and "read"?

When we talked on the phone, Bjorn implied that it could be
implemented using the Zope security adapter system, but that we could
get rid of almost all of our current custom launchpad.View adapters.
