I'm using the 32-bit LXC and I'm pretty sure Robert is as well. The
difference is pretty large in memory consumption. Which, at least for
me, was one of the points of switching to LXC instead of a VM. (I didn't
want to lose 1.5GB of memory running a VM, that wasn't really using all
of it.)

For example, the python redirect script that is loaded into memory
whenever Apache starts loads enough of Launchpad's codebase, that it is
about 130MB on a 32-bit machine, and 230MB or so on a 64-bit machine.
I'm pretty sure that most of it could page out to swap since it doesn't
get actively touched. But that is still almost 1/16 of my RAM for
something that isn't being used. (Firefox can end up taking more RAM
sometimes, but at least I was using it during that time. :)
