We already have a pretty good indication that the experiment is likely
to be a success, given the new sharing page and its back end is built
on top of the infrastructure and from a qualitative perspective, there
are no known issues so far. We would like to see if we can come up
with some simple way of estimating some of the metrics Curtis referred
to in his post. For example, based on our prior knowledge of writing
similar functionality in Launchpad, are the lines of code and/or
complexity of this new approach greater or less than that of the bug
listing feature (in the functional areas that overlap).

We are expecting/hoping to make a recommendation in around 2 weeks, or
possibly a bit longer.
