I like them. I like emails to save me clicking on the link, but the
format doesn't really matter that much. I'm sure for some people they
are tl;dr; for any given topic people will have varying levels of
interest and people only have so much bandwidth, and making them
shorter isn't going to change that. I think you are writing to your
audience just fine, and I will probably ignore these emails when your
team is working on something I don't want to devote time to following
:)
