Public bug reported:

Looking at the documentation, I barely find any mention at all of
staging and demo.  (Well, none at all of demo and a brief reference to
staging and dogfood).

This makes me wonder what we can do to make it clearer that we have this
test setup.  For example, a prominent "Try it out!" section in the Tour
might do wonders:

 * Don't fool around on production.  Register your account (and if
you're sure you want to, your project) there.  Then play all you want on
the demo servers.

 * Understand that staging gets wiped every day, demo is usually an old
version.

 * Any asynchronous jobs such as translations updates won't run by
themselves on the demo servers, so if nothing happens, ask under Answers
or on IRC.

Maybe something like that could help lower another threshold for new
users.  And perhaps "can I take it for a test drive?" should be a
standard FAQ for each of the applications.
