I moved the timeout feature flag changes into another branch and will instead move on with these changes.

If the request times out due to a long wait, then it's likely that the request should timeout because there is high load in the system.

If we show an error and the user retries (or the frontend retries) the behavior will now be a lot more intuitive, even if there is a timeout
