It takes a while to auto-approve uploads.  The system needs to figure
out what template and what language a translation is for, and of course
it can't do that until the template has been imported.  (Part of the
complexity is in the fact that the right template may still be in the
queue, or not even uploaded yet, so it just has to keep trying for all
unapproved files in the queue.)  That's why you see this happening
slowly, and in steps.

I just deactivated the libanki and ankiqt templates.  We don't have an
option to delete them completely, but when you edit a template, you'll
see a checkbox labeled “Template is active.”  Admins can still see the
templates, which can be nice if you ever want them re-enabled for
instance.
