-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Generally since joining the Testers team I've been fairly pleased. I was able to upload a package to my PPA and successfully build it, which is pretty cool. I very much like the PPA concept. However, two possible improvements: It would be nice if PPA supported more architectures (I understand this is a technical limitation for the time being) I _definitely_ think PPAs should support building for all currently supported releases. I tried building my package for Dapper, Edgy, and Feisty, and was surprised to learn that only Edgy and Feisty would work (plus Gutsy). It seems that it would only make sense for all current releases to be available here, particularly for making things available here that might be candidates for future backporting for testing/use. Outside of PPA, I am now the leader of a brand-new LoCo, so my biggest headache at the moment is https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/launchpad/+bug/66105. I'd like to be able to contact all people who apply to the team and send a welcome message and some additional information, as well as send reminders to people who haven't subscribed to our mailing list yet, but if they've chosen to hide their e-mail address I have no way of doing so, and team members can exist in an information blackout of sorts. I'd think this would be relatively easy to fix, and it's tagged as "fix-it-friday", so please try to look into this soon. Yeah, that's pretty much it - the rest seems good so far! :) - - Tony Yarusso -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFG8KK/KlAIzV4ebxoRAifxAJ4gzfqx7oE9pQpkQOD+GTATj3r/EQCfbF7b 1K7KCrWXcczusLDsqbZ/hyE= =rNb0 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
