I currently have RDP access to a couple of machines for testing, so
checked on one (I'll check the other when it's next on, if I remember):
IE 8.0.6001.18702 (Microsoft Windows Server 2003): works fine (no warnings)
Firefox 3.6.13 (Microsoft Windows Server 2003): works fine (no warnings)
Neither was particularly slow - a couple of seconds at most I'd say. So
the slowness isn't a universal issue it seems.
And to add to your collection (both on Debian squeeze):
Epihany 2.30.6: works fine (no warnings)
w3m 0.5.2+cvs-1.1027: works fine (no warnings)
Cheers,
Olly
