Thanks for bringing this up on the list Oliver.

The first two things I want to say are:

1. My opinion on the name should not matter much here because it should be
   up to the people stepping up to take the project in the direction they
   want.

2. There is no question that I will transfer the domain name over once the
   new server is ready for the migration. We can work out the exact details
   later, but you can count on it.

That said, I'm not sure I understand the need for a new name.

There is some value in the current one since the "brand" (for lack of a
better word) has been around for many years and lots of libraries, plugins
and sites refer to the name and the domain name directly.

The "legal reasons" for changing names don't make sense to me given that
there aren't any trademarks in the first place, and that even if there were
some, you're continuing the project with my full support :)

If you feel that the current name is obsolete or that can be "refreshed", or
if you find a better, then that's a good reason to switch. But if the change
is mainly motivated that these nebulous "legal" matters, I'm sure we get
that sorted out.
