[Bug 1390013] Re: The new lightdm-gtk-greeter no longer displays the hostname
Overview of changes in lightdm-gtk-greeter 1.8.6
...
* Required configuration changes:
- host and clock labels are indicators now, new default panel layout:
indicators=~host;~spacer;~clock;~spacer;~session;~language;~a11y;~power
...
Guess, ubuntu mate have custom configuration for greeter with this line:
indicators=~session;~language;~a11y;~power
"show-clock" option is deprecated.

New
Bug description:
Since the update of lightdm-gtk-greeter to version 1.9.0-0ubuntu1~trusty1 the hostname is no longer displayed in the left side of the panel. It is also no longer possible to see the clock, for example, Configuration in '/etc/lightdm/lightdm-gtk-greeter-ubuntu-mate.conf':

In the previous version, it was still possible.
