I just discovered LS has a ChangeLog file I somehow missed, which more or
less contains what the NEWS
file was supposed to have. I thought git logs have all the details and NEWS
should only highlight the main changes.

Shall I just add the NEWS items to the ChangeLog as it was done until 0.5.0,
shortening them a bit?
There's no user-visible/developer-visible changes differentiation there so
far but other than that it is a summary of the git logs.
