Well, there is a reason you stated on IRC, which is that WGs would need
milestones that lined up with Linaro as well. Is that correct?
Perhaps the better way of doing it would be to have:
- A platform status page, which encompassed Foundations, User
Platforms and possibly Infrastructure (though maybe that's best
tracked outside).
- A page for each working group (and possibly Infrastructure as per
the above) according to its own milestones.

I think you meant "inside Launchpad" above but yes, if the code is there
I agree.

Not having the WGs there means that absolutely should not be called
LinaroStatus; could we start by getting that renamed to PlatformStatus?
(Next question is whether we could rename that page to something under
Releases/1011/ and the one after that is whether we could use it dated
so people could see the progress, i.e.
Releases/1011/Status/Platform/2010-09-05
Releases/1011/Status/Infrastructure/2010-09-05
Releases/1011/Status/Infrastructure/2010-09-05
Or whether you'd like to have those under the team's hierarchies and
linked to from Releases/1011/Status instead)
