AFAIK, most teams have a good kernel that we could tag put out as components? at least ti should be tagged because thats the kernel we use for our LEB.Sorry, I was thinking these trees were for Android. Yes, I did say we could do that in the landing team trees for Ubuntu. IIRC, you wanted the tag 2.6.38-2011-06 created in each of the trees, which the platform team would use to create the tarballs.
For TI case, I think we will have something useful for Android (and the packaging and so on Zach has taken care of / is taking care of already) and Ubuntu .38.
However Ricardo the .38 thing almost has working Ubuntu 3D acceleration, it's waiting on a couple of patches you identified that can make it stable. That'd be a nice thing to issue, I don't mind taking care of the patches and testing if you can send or link to them.
.39 is waiting on DSS fix from Jassi that should be coming shortly before it's useful and we are otherwise not planning on focusing on .39, having already moved to Linus HEAD according to where TI and Ubuntu want us to be.
