[Bug 893940] [NEW] improve hwpack creation debug output/logs

Public bug reported:

We had a build issue with 20110928 hwpacks:
http://snapshots.linaro.org/build/panda-x11-base-natty/20110928/1/build-
log.txt

This issue wasn't easy to track with the build-log.txt so I'm wondering,
could we add --debug option to get a better build log for the hwpacks?
This issue affects offspring.

Though, even with the option enabled, it didn't helped to resolve the build issue with 20110928 hwpacks as
the debug trace isn't enough informative. Current log is useless compared to the rootfs logs, even packages downloaded aren't available. This issue affects l-i-t.
