[Bug 838548] [NEW] UPNP Host to UPNP Player Problem
Public bug reported:
Currently with Mythbuntu 11.10 using the UPNP Host feature to play
recorded TV on either my PS-3 or WD-Live players leads to a situation
where fast-forwarding and rewinding is erratic on the players. The
programs do not stop in the right place when FF or RR is finished i.e.
hitting play while doing the action. The spot where the program should
play from is not the spot the player begins; it usually picks a time a
couple of minutes off of the mark, sometimes the program is frozen in
spot. Also, especially on the PS-3 the FF action is very jumpy. On the
WD-Live the programs may crash the player on a FF. I do not get error
messages on the players. My LTS8.04 version of Mythbuntu manages files
more consistently although not perfectly. Playing the files locally on
the players does lead to a more consistent ease of use. I basing my
report on the basis of Mythbuntu 8.04 manages the recorded TV better.
** Affects: mythbuntu
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
