[Bug 264859] Re: Allow better editing of inputted text
I think the text mode (type '.' to start it) was new when this Bug was
closed. The text mode is great and definitly an improvement, but you
still can't change a single letter in the beginning of the typed text
without loosing everything.

Title:
Allow better editing of inputted text
Status in Do:
Fix Released
Bug description:
When inputting text, it would be nice to be able to edit it like you
would do in a normal text editor, i.e. select or navigate to a certain
part of the text using the arrow keys or the mouse to move the input
cursor - edit, delete or input more text at the cursor, cut, copy and
paste, and so on. This would be especially useful for plugins like the
Twitter plugin, where one usually types in whole messages instead of
single-line commands.
