Message #02812
[Bug 892811] [NEW] Import of a file via "Open with" out of a KDE file manager causes continuous high CPU load
Public bug reported:
1) Kubuntu 11.10, KDE 4.7.2, Kernel 3.0.0-12-generic, Dolphin 1.7
2) OpenShot installed via PPA
2) OpenShot version 1.4.0
When a file is imported via the "Open with" option from a KDE filemanager then the CPU usage of OpenShot increases heavily and stays on this level.
During normal operation OpenShot takes ~10-25% CPU load on my machine (Intel Pentium 4; 3.0GHz; Hyperthreading, 3 GB RAM) but after the described attempt of importing a file it is at ~55% even after several minutes. The import itself is successful and OpenShot can be further used.
** Affects: openshot
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
