[Bug 838600] Re: Middle mouse button dragging should move timeline (both directions)
for years gimp was behaving like that. with oneiric the behavior was
inverted. it's entirely counter-intuitive now. why was canvas dragging
behavior inverted?

Title:
Middle mouse button dragging should move timeline (both directions)
Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
Fix Released
Bug description:
When the middle mouse button is pressed and dragged, the timeline /
canvas should move in both the vertical and horizontal direction that
the mouse is moved. This is a common function of most graphic
programs, such as Gimp, Inkscape, and Blender. Currently, the only
way to move the canvas is with the scroll-wheel of the mouse, or by
the user clicking and dragging one of the "small" scroll-bar handles.
