Title:
  ppa and last git fail on 64bit

Bug description:
  Hello I used to run gnome-do from the ppa repo and test git on my 32 bit ubuntu jaunty. All works well.
  I switch to x64 version of jaunty and now I can’t run these two versions (the ubuntu package work well).
  Here is the output error :
