[Bug 956665] Re: [Feature Request] Associate icon with filetype
I think it's done. Just a one line fix, so I'll attach the patch, too.
Also, since there's no debian/ directory in lp:openshot, I couldn't do
anything with the changelog (if you wanted me to). It's tested and it
should work.
** Branch linked: lp:~kroq-gar78/openshot/fix-956665
** Changed in: openshot
Status: New => In Progress
** Patch added: "Patch to associate icon with mimetype"

Title:
[Feature Request] Associate icon with filetype
Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
In Progress
Bug description:
This is a feature request, so it doesn't apply to any specific version
of Ubuntu/Linux.
I was thinking that it may be nice to associate the icon of OpenShot
with the ".osp" extension. I think it would also make it clear that
these files can be double-clicked (in Nautilus/Marlin) and then are
directly opened in OpenShot, but the main reason is that it looks
nice.
I'll get to work on it now, and you guys can see if you want it later.
