Message #05373
[Bug 1003515] [NEW] Upon starting a new project without leaving Openshot the playhead is not initialized
Public bug reported:
When you multiple (small) projects without leaving Openshot, the
playhead is not reinitialized.
Workflow:
- Working on a project: rendering or saving is not relevant for the issue.
- play the project in the preview
- Start new project
In the new empty project the playhead remains at the last position of where you stopped playing the previous project.
It would be better (IMHO) to initialize the playhead to position/time 00:00:00. It also prevents you from putting clips "somewhere" on the timeline.
This happens with both openshot 1.42 (PPA) and bzr trunk version 1.43
revision 675 and before on 32bit Ubuntu 12.04. One with mlt 0.77 (inside
virtualbox) and one with mlt 0.78.
** Affects: openshot
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
