Specifically INSTALL_ROOT isn't applied by the new external directory
stuff.

It's entirely an upstream issue right now.

Status in Mythbuntu, Ubuntu derivative focused upon MythTV:
  New

Bug description:
  Since upgrading to 10.04 and MythTV 0.26 there are few trunk updates
  (before that they were almost daily and they are still there for
  0.25-fixes) plus more than a week have passed since the last package
  upgrade. Something wrong?
