Is it still bugging you ? Can you provide a screenshot as I'm working on
ironing the issues arount the DDTP ?

  New descriptions are replaced by old ones

Status in Package Descriptions for Ubuntu (to make translation easy):
  New
Status in Ubuntu Translations:
  New

Bug description:
  This is happening for a whole bunch of strings that have been
  translated before. New translations don't disappear but appear as
  suggestions and old translations are getting current. It is easy to
  fix this by simply confirming all the suggestions again, but is not
  fun to confirm about 200-300 suggestions for each ddtp-template every
  release, however.
