Message #11234
[Bug 1331771] [NEW] multiple clicks with razor tool can destroy projects
Public bug reported:
visual feedback for razor tool is not very obviously visible. (Depends on the zoom factor and length of the resulting clip.)
As OpenShot newbie I tended to click multiple times, because I thought my clicks were not recognized.
Afterwards there where some zombie frames of deleted or moved clips left over in the timeline which could not be deleted even by completely removing all clips and transitions.
In this case I had to give up the project and start a new one from scratch, not good.
I assume some divide-by-zero bug when the user places too many cut points with the razor tool.
Workaround: Since I am very careful to only click once with the razor, I
never had these problems anymore.
This is in 64bit openSUSE 13.1
Installation via one-click or via zypper => OpenShot 1.4.3
Every lib in newest version of May 2014
OpenShot 1.4.3
** Affects: openshot
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
